Default some pics of my 04 after its bath

my camera f-ckin sucks so dont mind the crappy quality. i need to get it detailed. i buffed it a couple of months ago and didnt think about the swirl marks. the friggin everywhere. i re buffed my hood and used my orbital from the 1970s to finish it up. but the whole car needs to be clay barred and the whole 9 yards. just dont have the time to do it or the money to but the polisher and pads and all that good stuff. anyone in the baltimore area detail on the side and do a good job hit me up. im thinkin about takin it to diamond detail in ****eysville but thought i would give this a try first.

before the suspension and swirl marks

You can pay to get a good detail or for the same amount of money you could invest in a new orbital with pads and all the polishes and what not that you need. I just dropped $200 tonight on an Autopia package that includes a great dual-action orbital polisher, 3 different Sonus polishing pads, and 3 different Sonus polishes.

I already have a great Zaino package sitting here with a claybar, a couple of bottles of Z-2 Pro, and all kinds of other Zaino products (leather cleaner and conditioner, plastic polisher, etc.) ready to go. I also ordered some great P21S Carnauba Car Wax that I will use to top off the finish once I polish the car and give it a thorough Zaino treatment.

I've spent about $400 all together but to get someone to wash your car, claybar it, polish it, seal it, and then wax it you are looking about the same amount, but yet you can use these products over and over again. I understand it would probably take a whole day to completely do a car that is in desperate need of polishing but to me it feels great knowing I did it myself and saved some money in the process. I'll make sure to post pics once I complete the process on my car.

thanks man would love to see the pics. beleive i know all about doing things myself and how the outcome feels. thats the whole reason i started workin on cars for a living. i can pick up on things very easy and used to detail the hell out of my del sol but it was white and didnt show swirl marks so i never knew how bad they would show up. i prolly will end up doin it myself but i can only use the shop at work during work hours and at home no garage and the only shade i have is a tree that dumps sap everywhere. the guy i work with has an 06 sti and just spent a **** load of money on the pc polisher and all the sonus pads so i might just end up doin it with his stuff for now. i was just thinkin of takin it to get detailed to have a fresh start and all i would have to do is just keep up on what the detail place does. but i knopw i would feel much better seein the difference i did compared to someone elses work because for the most part am the only one whose gonna put the most effort into it because its mine.
thanks again and dont forget to show me the pics when ur done.
john
