You will then be charged the upgrade price of $200 and a CDROM with StreetTUNER Advanced upgrade will be shipped to you.

StreetTUNER Advanced gives you access to all ECU tables that are currently available in the Professional AccessTUNER software. One of the new features allows you to install our MAP sensor adapter and then calibrate the ECU so a 3.5 Bar MAP sensor will work with the stock ECU. By calibrating the ECU tables for this new sensor and using the sensor adapter you will be able to tune up to 35psi (relative) of boost pressure using the stock ECM!

The use of the MAF sensor for more precise fueling and ignition advance calculations is still kept in tact! This should allow the stock ECU to read up to 50 PSIa which will allow you to use the stock ECU tables to calibrate up to 35 psi of relative boost pressure using all other stock hardware. The AccessTUNER software should also allow you to read, display, and log these higher values using the stock ECM. We have tested the Zeitronix 3.5 BAR MAP sensor and the AEM 3.5 BAR MAP sensor (AEM Part # 30-2130-50). The Zeitronix 3.5 BAR MAP sensor shows some better specifications, should perform more consistently, and is less expensive than the AEM unit...but either should work. We are offering two adapters that should fit all USDM Subarus, see below product pictures.

Part # SUB00021
For Subaru WRX, STi, & FXT that has the stock MAP sensor installed in the throttle body assembly.


Part # SUB00020
For Subaru LGT & FXT that has the stock MAP sensor installed on the intake manifold.

These adapters retail price is $50.00 each, and both of these adapters are available now. The part # SUB00020 is for the Legacy GT 2.5L 4-cylinder Turbo and the modern 6-cylinder Throttle-By-Wire vehicles. The part # SUB00021 is for all other Subaru 4-cylinder Turbos and the older 6-cylinder vehicles. You will need to carefully remove and re-use the stock MAP sensor O-ring with the use of the SUB00021 adapters in order to make a proper seal. We are not going to carry the 3.5 BAR MAP sensors so you will need to purchase them directly from the above two links or through their perspective dealer networks.

Yea I saw info about the release on Cobbforums also but have yet to find info on exactly what tables are accessable to us with this update. What tables and features does ProTuner have that we didnt have access to?

This is very difficult to explain since all ECUs have different tables, the updated table list would be huge since this would account for 21+ different ECUs. We have received requests in the past for access to various tables by our Professional AccessTUNER network...which basically means that StreetTUNER Advanced gives you access to all tables currently available in the Professional version of our software.

We should be able to calibrate to that MAP sensor perfectly fine. We specifically made the MAP sensor adapter so it would work with any 1/8th NPT MAP sensor. I would be happy to work with you to establish the calibration values. I have verified that the boost control values can be set that high in the ECU...so nothing would be stopping us. With that said, have you ever driven on a 5 Bar MAP sensor...on speed density set-ups they street driveability is not that good but you should be fine using the MAF sensor since the MAP sensor values are mainly used for compensatory values and boost control. Please PM me if you are interested in working on a 5 BAR calibration.

Got my disk. Loaded it. No problem until I try to communicate with the vehicle. It does not see the ECU. Had no issues ever with the prior version.

Yes, the software can actually tell you why it is not able to connect to the vehicle. If you go to the "Help" drop down menu in the StreetTUNER software, then select View Log File, a .txt document will pop up telling you why the software could not connect. Read what that says and you can diagnose from there.

Does the update require you to update your AccessPort in any way? My AP cable is mangled, I've been using a tactrix cable w/streettuner for the last year or so.

What? That works!?? My AP cable has been going crazy. It works only about 75% of the time. I'm just going to use the tactrix cable form now on then!

The install will want to talk to the AP but you use a NULL modem serial cable for that. Not the OBDII port cable.
