Cel 0420

I have an 06 STI that has a MaddDad catted TBE and Cobb Street Tuner. I have been running a Stage2+ map and I have begun to throw CEL 0420 after about 3 months with no issues running a custom map. Has anyone run into anything similar in the past?

This is the Stage 2 plus map I got from you. Have you seen the CEL 0420?

it is the obdII code im pretty sure

Check your map to see if you have that code enabled. Sounds like the cat-related CEL which is normally turned off when using StreetTuner.

That's the code for Catalyst efficiency. Mostly found in catless DP's, but you're catted.

I believe you can defeat this problem with the StreetTuner, see following link:

Thanks for getting my head back on straight guys. I checked the codes and in the OTS Cobb Stage 2 map has 0137, 0138, 0139, 0420 disabled. I changed my map and reflashed. I have not seen any codes yet. Thanks!

These codes are all Cat related.
0137 - Oxygen Sensor Circuit Slow Response
0138 - Pre-Catalyst O2S Shorted to Voltage
0139 - Oxygen Sensor Circuit Slow Response
0420 - Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold

although this code is disabled with stage 2 if you are catted you should have no problems with this code. at the same time your aftermarket downpipe has a not so high quality cat in it so that probably the issue. you should just gut that **** out and go catless then.
