Default Can boost control be used?

Can Cobb control a Perrin type boost controller?

You are really asking if the factory ECU (hardware) can control boost by sending signals to the perrin solenoid. Yes it can. Cobb accessport/streettuner/accessecu stuff just changes the parameters the factory ECU uses. You will need to use parameters that are different from stock.
