Hey guys I just started today to calibrate the intake and i think at least on the lower portion i'm doing good but how do you guys tune the higher volts? do you just use AFR instead of the AF Immed and trim...? Also i can't log with my Streettuner... anyone might now any trick or thing i might be overlooking? I do have the dashboard working...

BTW anyone has a rescaled stage II map?

To log go to edit - options - logging - and set your desired logging directory and logging parameters. Try not logging too many or else you will not get much resolution. The more you log, the smaller you must change you logging rate. To log during a run, press control D to start and then when you are finished press control D again to end the log. My version of the rescaled maps are here:

Great Thanks!!! About the logging it sounds like ECU Explorer but i couldn't get it to start, will try setting it up.

Any advice on intake cal on the 3+ volt area... Just use AFR actual compared to wanted...?!?!?

Make sure you have the right COM port selected. I believe there is a auto detect feature in ST. As for tuning the 3+ volt area's. Get an average of the % used to increase the lower portion of your curve at 2.5 volts and before with a very consistent throttle so that tip-in and CL/OL transition do not bias the calibration and then multiply the rest of your curve by that % value. Then you can use the Cobb ST guide to input you actual vs. target fuel ratio's against there respective MAF volt loads to fine tune.

How much boost is too much? Of course i'm starting slow then working my way up logging very often but just to know when does the vf39 goes out of its efficiency?

btw what is that 2 step prototype you mention in your sig... sounds interesting

Ok an Update...

I'm using the map Wolf/CI had as a base but at the same time trying to mimik my protunes logs but of course under shooting so that i don't blow anything...

So Far i have only tuned boost and of course took a bit of timing of and added fuel to make it safe at first.

The problem i'm having is with spool-up. My previous tune would spool up in 6th gear at around 2500 rpm to 19-20 psi but in lower gears around 3000 rpm would be at 20 psi... Mine is coming up around 3400-3600... Don't know what i might be doing wrong. Any tips on getting spool up UP
