Default Wanting to learn more....

Spent a better part of this week reading all the posts within this subforum trying to find out information on tuning. The want to learn more about tuning has overcome me and i've finally got the street tuner to take a look at all the parameters needed to take into consideration. i've yet to get a wideband o2 but i'm wondering if i can start making corrections to anything without it? currently have an 04 sti with 3" catted tbe, aps dr525 fmic, short ram intake, stock turbo. i've got tgv deletes, aps inlet, and 70mm aps cai going in shortly. i know i should start data logging and taking a look at all the parameters, but what can i start tweaking without the use of a wideband o2 sensor? thanks in advance and i hope to learn alot of what most of you know already.

Chris

Have you read the n00b tuning primer and christian's stuff on the cobb forums? There are also a couple books that people recommend on here, but I cant remember their names.

Welcome to the wonderful world of tuning!

Regarding good reads, I personally recommend How to Tune and Modify Engine Management Systems, by Jeff Hartman.
