IWSTI Addict since: Jul 2006 Trader Rating: (2) | I am using a full 3" TBE and the Enginuity Map set for 93 oct. I am planning on the EWG, injectors, pump, sway bar and some springs. |

The HIGHER the weight you put into the spreadsheets, the more power/torque it will say that you are making. Keep that in mind. I can't see our cars weighing much over 3500lbs with a driver and full tank of gas. Also, note the gear. I used 3rd due to 4th requiring 100mph. I imagine 4th would give me a little more hp up top. t

IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2005 Trader Rating: (12) | I usually use 3600lbs total weight on everything I do. The extra weight you saw wolf was do to a variety of corrections based on elevation and temp as well as real weight. The way I did that was loading a tune I know the numbers from previous dyno runs until it is pretty similar. On others I use lesser weight to more resemble real reading dynos. Keep in mind I don't use it for numbers, just results. it is very good at picking up gains and losses. I always tell everyone to go the runs on the exact same stretch of road. This is the only way to keep things accurate. I have a little stretch of road that is exactly perfect for a 3rg gear run from 2k to redline. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jul 2006 Trader Rating: (2) | My pulls were made in 4th gear from around 2200-7000 rpms. I weight 145 and have nothing else in the car that adds to it. Also, I usually have a half tank as a rule. So, a 3351 +/- lbs. plus 145 ....3496 +/- plus whatever half a tank is. |

Actually, I don't want to know the actual weight. I want to know the weight in the spreadsheet. The weight in the spreadsheet can terribly skew the results depending on what is utilized. So, what total weight was in the spreadsheet? In Jeff's sheet, this value is located in B3 of the data sheet. In Mike's this value is located in cell B2 of the data sheet. t

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2004 Trader Rating: (6) | What I do know is that if I pump my weight up to what you guys are using then it's saying I am making 355hp/385tq. No way do I believe that - lol. I think this spreadsheet is going to be useless unless we all use and agree on setting the weights appropriately. t |

IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2005 Trader Rating: (12) | This is the spreadsheet I use. It was posted on nasioc awhile back. I did however make my own minor adjustments to the spreadsheet for various reasons. You guys can do the same pretty easily once you figure it out. http://www.enginuity.org/download.php?id=73 |

IWSTI Addict since: Jun 2004 Trader Rating: (6) | Again, and I can't emphasize this enough, comparisons are useless here unless everybody is agreeing to use the real weight of the car and not something like 3900 total lbs. Most of the graphs so far appear to be based off of a ~3900lb total (3600lb car + 200lb driver + 100lb gas). I am suggesting to use 3200 for the car, your real weight, and the real amount of gas you have in the car. t This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |
