Are you sure you aren't talking about what has been covered previously?

Yeah, he's definitely got a different issue. His DA values are actually showing up in the log less than his targets specified in the map table (i.e., getting 8.5 in the log vs. 10 in his map). The issue in your link relates to total timing not equaling target timing when the DA is logged at max value.

It works, I change my PI from 2k to 3k and from 1.0 load to my highest load at 3k(2.50) to 16.0d and the car run great actually stronger than before. and still giving me full DA. But now I have to smooth-out the timing at lower loads because the car feels weird when it goes from the stock timing bellow 1.0 load to the new timing(16d).

Here's a thread I started on Cobb forums. This guy 'Drifter' had some different opinions. He seemed to think that it wasn't pulling timing.

I'd really appreciate if you took the time to look at it. I'm can tell if Im more confused now or not lol. thanks.

I have the day off so maybe Ill try this now. However I am skeptical because this occurs no matter what RPM/load site I punch the gas at...

Ding, I'm a genius! Funny when some accidents turn into miracles.

Im in the process of this right now(1-2.5 load timing change). Should I bias it more towards DA or PI. All in PI? All in DA? I figure since its such a low amount of timing I might be safe putting it all into PI and making the corresponding rpm/load sites in the DA tables '0'.
What do you think?

I did all my changes to the PI but I don't think it really matters

I hear you, it seems like every time I go out to do a log the car burns about a 1/4 of a tank.

I was mainly talking about the timing Im changing in the lower loads. My logs show upwards of 25degrees there....now its only going to see 16..lol

Understood. Admittedly, I didn't take a lot of time to read the whole thread (due to family stuff going on). I just wanted to throw something in as a just in case.
