Default LC1 and ST install

I've done a few searches with no good results, so here I go with a NOOB question. I just got my LC-1 w/ a meter and Street Tuner. I know the install is pretty much straightforward. My question is, is that it? Just install the LC-1 and ST as instructed, plug both of them in my laptop and start loggin away? Is there an option within ST program to log LC-1 within ST as advertised? I know I sound like I'm totally unprepared, but I assure you I'm covering all the bases. I just want to make sure there are no surprises when I go log for the first time with ST and LC1.

Download the LC-1 Pluggin from CobbForums. Put that plug in in the plugin folder where ST is installed. Then when you open up ST go to edit and configure options and check the enable box and the COM port where it is plugged in. Then go live tuning and see how accurate my fuel tuning skills are

Haha, if you really want them off, I can send you a map with them off. Only problem being the good basemap would be wiped and you need to run the realtime map(s). OR pick up a tactrix cable so that you can flash the good basemap with the codes turned off. BTW the LC-1 is a piece of cake to install. I am down to less than 30min per install now, lol.

Blah. Want to keep the BM. I'll end up getting the tactrix cable. So, without the tactrix cable, I can only flash realtime maps with ST and AP cable. In order to flash basemaps, I need the cable, correct??

You can flash a basemap with one created in ST and transfered to your AP. The problem is that I have some things built into your current basemap, that are nice but not completely necessary.

I shouldn't have a problem with it. Just getting under there to reach the bung in the TXS DP. I figure if I can wire up a Motec harness onto a cup car, 7 wire wideband shouldn't give me any problems.

I may come knocking when I have to overhaul the break system.

Yeah forget those tree huggin, sandal wearing, hair-bleaching, pot-smoking hippies on the other side.

And no doubt, kudos to Ross for hosting all those install days.

You guys kill me... If I wasnt so deeply rooted in my family, with a very steady well paying job I would probably get outta here even though it is the nicest place I have ever been. I just cant stand the people around here for the most part. Even though this is IMO the best part of the west coast.

I think PacNW is absolutely gorgeous... Being a mountain lover (well used to, runs in the family), I'd love to live in Washington or Oregon. but I just couldn't stand all the rain.

Yes it rains many days in WA, depending on where you are and what your definition of "raining" is. A good portion of the time raining in WA is a slight drizzle for a few hours or days that really is just an inconvenience. Not very often it really just rains. Most people are surprised.
