IAT's...measured from where?

Is the IAT retrieved from the MAF sensor??

Or a sensor on the intake manifold..?

I want to say MAF, but I'm not 100% sure.

personally....it sounds like a bad idea to measure it from the MAF...

Measured in the MAF. Its the bulb looking thing that always gets dirty first in the MAF sensor.
