Any issues at all? No hesitation or hic-ups? Wierd OL/CL transitions?

Looks very nice. I'm leaning towards the same turbo.

None. Only issue I screwed around with was the tip-in, and I think it is probably just like stock now.

Have any of you made any progress with this issue?

I put in a FMIC like Wolf around the same time and was trolling this thread for some time, but stopped driving my STI for awhile (the girlfriend bought a legacy and I catch a ride).

I just realized that I should go ahead and just play with my original idea of installing a td0520g (externally gated), but I fear that this issue will be exacerbated with that combination, unless I slow the boost onset to a controllable level.

Nope. No progress. I've tried tons of stuff short of blow through and seriously fudging the fuel tables.

As an ex DSMer, I've pretty much had it with blow through.
I'll acknowledge that it does work very well at low to moderate loads (insofar as the sensor provides consistent output), but the sensor was never made to placed under that kind of pressure and readings can get "hairy" at really high boost levels, and honestly, I think I would have killed any other motor, but it was a 4g63 and a few lean moments are cake for that motor compared to the EJ.

The only solution I've found thus far is to mess with the wastegate tables to simulate a larger turbo under certain rpm conditions, which is totally retarded.

If any of you decide to put the stock TMIC back, as I am, please post pics of your bumper post-post install. I dread what my front bumper will look like all cut up with no fmic there. In fact, I don't even know where all the miscellaneous parts are.
