Default The difficulty with Blow-Through MAFs

Hey all,

I've been spending a good bit of time working on perfecting my tune recently.

I have the JECS, a 3" green, WI, a FMIC, EWG, etc, etc.

And a 3.125" blowthrough MAF.

Everything has progressed well except for the last little detail. Tip-in enrichment.

I can get the immediate A:F and Short term fuel corrections to look OK... but 1/2 a second later, the car always falls lean and then the STFTs go +20 something. As I create larger numbers in the cells fo the Tip-In table, the initial "hit" goes too rich and the car starts to hesitate/lurch, etc.

Has anyone with a blow-through MAF succeeded in getting this "tip-in enrichment decay" right? Has anyone else had this problem?

Has anyone seen anything in the tuning marketplace/open source space related to Tip-in decay?

I'd liek to hope that Street Tuner Plus or whatever it's called might have somethign, but now Street Tuner Plus is slated for the new year. At this rate, we will have our current street tuner for a long time.

thanks,
Chris

Try using Enginuity to tune Tip-in [boost error]. You can add or remove fuel with initial boost onset with this table. It works wonders for people with WI i.e. in my case where I would run too rich on the onset of boost and when the meth started to spray.
