JDM-STI,

Please list your 'Closed Loop Modified Load' settings. Also, please tell me how you know that it is only 3.0v + that is open loop? How do you know the switchover happens at 3.0v?

Manipulating your closed loop tables will force open loop.

I dont have those settings. Scott has all of that info. 3.0V is where the fuel trims finally zero out. Plus that is where Scott told me that it is going into OL.

This is true, we've been fighting this issue forever. I have 2 cars with it, one with AP and one with Ecutek. You can see when it goes OL when the short-term goes to 0 (.39 in ap). I did manage to make another '05 do it at 3.0, and then change it to 2.45. I'm going to work on JDM-STi's more tomorrow...

If your open loop delays are 0, it should changeover fairly consistently at a certain voltage. If you have the delays non-zero, it will be harder to nail down a voltage. It is easiest to see on a highway in 5th or 6th. You can ease onto the gas while watching short-term trim and maf voltage. You will likely see that it goes OL at a consistent voltage...

Scott,

What happens when you lower the Closed Loop Modified Load values?

Not sure how much he really gets to read the boards these days. He's bee extremely busy tuning. If you are intested in some of my settings, PM him. I know he checks that and his email regularly. He and I were just speaking VERY highly of you yesterday on the phone.
