Me too. As soon as I take back enough cans* to buy ST, I shall.

*For those thinking WTF? In much of the PNW they charge you a deposit when you buy a beer can, soda can/bottle, etc. You may redeem them at the retailers for usually $.05 each. That leaves only 3900 mountain dews between me and ST!!

Take care,
Christian.

I think a lot of 101 is unecessary for most.

I think you should break up each class by concept: boost, fuel and ignition, or something of that nature. Each class or module could cover both basic and advanced concepts, while simultaneously repeating the User Interface in each module. Such repetition should help to aid each user store both the concepts and information into long term memory. You could also repeat troubleshooting steps in each module, further making it clear what the troubleshooting process should be. This type of repetition will also help you to create a shortcut lexicon that will eventually be more productive as the user passes each module. Also, if you break up each module up by concept, you can repeat the important points of certain key concepts for emphasis in each module, thus explaining how each concept builds on another.

Tuning AVCS and other tables that often get neglected. Also as I stated in an earlier post, tuning in protuner/advanced ST. This would be beneficial b/c my car was only tuned with the current ST on the dyno and was making great power as compared to the PT. Seeing what other tables that can be tuned for reliabily and power would be a great help for the upgraded version that is coming out and seeing if protuners are actually touching these other tables instead of just tuning boost, timing, and fuel.

Christian, I don't have any useful feedback on your syllabus, but I am interested. My copy of ST was shipped yesterday and I'm anxious to begin learning. The idea mentioned about saving the files for later viewing was great. I think the less intimidated people become about tuning their own cars the more likely they'll be to buy street tuner.

Please sign me up too!

Also, I agree with the concept based classes (i.e. ignition, fuel, boost) etc.

Christian, is there any update that you can give us as to a time frame that you would like to start offering classes? Has the syllabus been changed?
