Default Street Tuner Install Problem

Did anyone have any problems installing street tuner? I unmarried the AP from my car and plugged the AP in to the serial port (com1) of my laptop and ran the ST install. The installer wants to connect to the AP but it just says Connecting and hangs. I have no problem connecting to the AP using the AP map manager though. It's only ST that doesn't want to work. Wondering if anyone has had this problem. I've already contacted Cobb but they aren't sure what the issue is and said I will have to wait till Monday. I was wondering if anyone here has had the problem and solved it. And the AP is definitely unmarried correctly.

Is it hanging when you go into map map manager throught ST? or are you at the part of the ST install where it looks for the AP to update it?

Did you have the AP in 'sync to pc' mode? That could be your problem, I did the same thing the first time. Remember you have to hold the up/down button on power-up when the AP is unmarried to get to the main menu.
