Default PE800's latency values - need please

<TABLE class=tborder cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=4 width="100%" align=center border=0><TBODY><TR vAlign=top><TD class=alt1>If anyone knows or can point me in the right direction here - I need the latency values of PE800cc injectors. I am having a tough time getting a complete answer.

Is there a chart somewhere that I havn't looked hard enough for?

I had one guy tell me 1.6. The problem is that I need all values for the acending voltages from 6v to 16v (not necessarily in 1 volt increments). So I'm not sure where 1.6 plugs in at.

Thanks guys - I've also posted at Nasioc.

Brian

This will put you close ...

9.75, 2.79, 1.37, 0.98, 0.70

The scalar will be somewhere between 3050 and 3150 (IMHO) depending on your car.

Thanks! This is the first real "complete" set of values I have seen. Its unbelievably tough to get an English speaking Power Enterprise tech on the phone.

Yeah, my injector scaling is at 3382 (I have a WRX w/EJ257) not a STi. So I believe my equation works out to 3300ish.

I will try these figures and report back - thank you Wolfplayer

thanks wolf and you're welcome kingtut.

A week ago I looked over a log I made a month prior. I swear I'm gonna finish someday and post results for real.

Just saw the ADV ST thread and getting excited again.

Going back under my rock now.

Hey guys, that latency table you gave me...was that for side feed or top feed PE injectors?

I plugged them in and they do seem to work, but upon take off or free-revving, there is a very noticable delay from my foot depressing the gas and the car going, "VROOOM" - once above 2000rpms though, it is simultaneously responsive.

thanks

You probably know this, but your latency's need to be tweaked until you get a smooth rev. You also have to listen to the motors sound as it revs. Try going one way or the other with the latency values until the motor revs freely and sounds "happy". When change the latency, also watch you're LT and ST fuel trims. Change the scalar according to the trims.

The trims at idle are near perfect, and I have tuned the intake fairly thoroughly up to about 2.6 load. No more than 3.00-4.00 fluctuation.

The response certainly needs help - I have top-feed injectors, so i would imagine (and i can feel it) that my latency is a bit low. I just hate the fact that I cannot tune this in realtime - seems to me this one is a realtime parameter not base. But oh well. I will let you guys know. Thanks
