If you have a Big MAF and big injectors then you will be chasing your tune in circles. Start with just the big injectors and a stock-type MAF tube. Tune that. Then install the Big MAF and tune the MAF table.

BTW, Nobody is going to give you a map for that setup.

For some people, yes. For others no.

Fact is, I have yet to hear of anyone personally tuning their own FP Red setup. Has it happened? Probably. However, the majority of people with big turbos get tuned by a 'tuner'. Couple that with the fact that a lot of people who get custom tunes don't even have StreetTUNER (they are just running an AccessPORT with a ProTUNER map) and you are left with a very very small population of people who have StreetTUNER and a custom big turbo map that they are willing to share. A fraction of those aren't even on the internet.

I would start with a rescaled stg2 base map. Adjust the scaler for the injectors. Use the stock MAF and wastegate boost to start with. Copy-paste the Dynamic advance A map over the B and C maps. Zero out the dynamic advance tables above 2.5 engine load and smooth out the transition. Run race gas or a mix of race gas and 93 for your initial pulls, for safety in case it leans out or something. If the car feels good and your datalogs look good, start pulling timing from the base ignition map (above 2.5 load, where you zeroed out the dyn adv maps) and add it to the dynamic advance maps.

This is how I've tuned my car, I am running basically the same setup but with a fmic, pe 850cc injectors, and an smc alky kit. I max out the stock MAF around 21psi, I'm just about ready to switch over to the BigMAF. The alky isn't spraying either yet. If you search nasioc for "GT35R and datalog" you will find some logs to compare your datalogs with.

Good luck. Be careful - you're playing with fire. Go slowly and let out if your AFR's or EGT's look at all funny.

I don't mean to hi-jack the thread, but someone's comment above raised a question. As a tuner tunes a car with the street tuner software, can he see EGTs easily to help ensure safety of the tune...I know that dyno software allows for afr readings, etc...but I am curious about egt

The only way I know of to log EGT's is with the Zietronix ZT-2. StreetTuner can datalog AFR's and EGT's off it.

Way I figure this, someone has to be a pioneer, even if they have arrows in their back.

Thanks for the help, Now I just need to get this working.

Everytime I try to open a file, I get

Unable to open map file.
Error Code 2:438

I down loaded the maps from cobbs street tuner maps section, and I still get that. I called cobb and they had nothing for me, which seemed wierd.
