Race Gas Map - Post your experience

So, I would like to create a race gas map. I know that I can advance timing & raise the boost a bit, but I would like some starting guide lines from someone who has done it already.
Please post what changes you made & by how much to create your race gas map. I usually run 93 Oct & will be running 100 Oct.

100 octane fuel should have a greater density (Lb/Gallon) so your fuel curve will shift to a richer burn across the RPM range. Tuning your fuel curve through your Intake Calibration table is the technically correct way to tune for higher octane gas, but modifications to the fuel table are easier. Just realize that your fuel table will be dictating a leaner than normal A/F to get what you want out of the tail pipe. You will still have the least amount of ignition advance at peak torque (peak engine load)...but I cannot give a timing value w/o knowing more information. Watch your EGT gauge, you should see EGTs go down as you increase ignition advance. The motor will still knock and detect know on 100 octane so just watch your logs as usual and give the motor what it wants. I advise against tuning w/o a chassis dyno, you really need to see how the vehicle responds to your changes.

I thought Cobb already had a 100 octane map available?

It's a 100 octane map for an otherwise stock STI running stock boost levels, no fun unless you are using it for autox.
