| Junior STI Driver | Hi All, I just installed an FP20G and I am running Street Tuner. In the target boost levels I set 18 psi from 3600 to 6800 rpm at 80% throttle position. I increased WGDC to between 75 and 85% in the WG High table from 2000 rpm up. In WG Low table I have set between 60 and 75% from 2000 rpm up. I am running a modified Stage 2 Street Tuner map (Stage2 V110). I have reset the ECU and installed both a base map and a real time map with these new parameters. After three extended shakedown runs (4-5 miles), I cannot get boost over 15.5 psi (indicated by Defi BF) in any gear. In the logs Absolute Pressure comes in at 29-30 psi which also suggests that boost is around 15 psi since I am at sea level. DAM is at 1.0. Timing looks decent with values between 22 and 28 in the upper rpm ranges at WOT. I am running Nismo 720cc injectors so the scaling may not be perfect yet (I am using 3300 in the Injector Scale field) but the AF learned is -5. I adjusted the wastegate actuator myself so I am pretty sure that it is correct. FP said that the actuator is a 15 psi model. I used the existing vacuum/boost hose routing from the VF-39 but I trimmed the hoses to equalize the tee lengths between the compressor discharge connect and the wastegate actuator connect. There are no exhaust leaks that I can detect and boost production up to the 15 psi limit seems healthy in all gears. Any thoughts on the problem? Software or hardware? IWSTI Addict since: Jan 2005 Trader Rating: (1) | Yeah is there suppose to be a little restricter in the hose going to the turbo side from the boost solenoid? I have the perrin ebcs and I don't know if it's suppose to have one or not. I am only hitting 15psi when I used to hit 20-24psi. |
