Default Had a thought on my way to work

What if you set the the ECU to not go into open loop fueling.
Would the ECU target your fuel map in closed loop? At least down to ~11:1.

I am going to have to try this when I get some time.

TMS,

This isn't specifically answering your question, but I will after this: If you haven't seen my Wideband vs. Stock Narrowband please take a look. When my narrowband reports 11:1, I am actually running about 12.2:1. Personally, I don't see the benefit (besides the experimentation and learning - which is a great reason to try it in itself).

I don't know for sure with regard to the Scooby ECU but with other ECUs there are several constants that need to be changed in order to affect keeping a car in closed loop. It's definitely a neat thing to try, but, I doubt we'll be able to keep the car in purely closed loop with solely the constants/tables that are currently available in StreetTUNER.
