When you uninstall the StreetTUNER software it asks you to connect the AP to your computer so it can return it to a normal AP. If that procedure was not followed as stated in the instructions and prompted by the software then I may not be able to assist, the AP may have to be sent in for conversion.

Take care,
Christian.
Sorry bout that, I just re-read the link I posted.. I thought it said CAN'T uninstall.. But it indeed says CAN... I was thinking that Cobb made it a uni-directional firmware update. My bad... Sorry Cobb! Now I can get streettuner and not worry, YAY!

No problem at all. I just had a meeting with the AccessECU department. FYI, this process will take approximately 2.5 hours to complete from start to finish. The case will need to be broken and possibly replaced, the PCB inside will need to be reprogrammed (this takes the majority of the time), then cemented back together, inspected, packed, and shipped. We will do whatever we need to...I just hope that the instructions were followed.

Take care,
Christian.

Default Re: Help with STREETTUNER!!!! URGENT!!!

to bring this back from the dead I am trying to uninstall the street tuner from my AP and I am having trouble connecting in order to uninstall the Street Tuner. I have unmarried the AP from the car successfully already. When I open the Uninstall.exe file it asks me to connect the AP after verifying that I have unmarried and then when I press ok it says there is a communication error and that I should verify all connections and try again. It is in sync to pc mode as the AP says "Waiting for PC". Any ideas? Could it be the com port is jacked up?
