Default Whoa! StreetTuner update!!

Just started ST, it updated...

WOW! Talk about a change...

4 new wastgate pressure and barometric compensation
a new "knock learning" table (which doesn't look like it can be changed??)

a new "add 50 HP" table. You put what RPM you want 50 HP. Ok, maybe not that feature yet...

Somebody clue me in on how to rescale the knock learning table. Do I need to modify my map offline and reflash the base map?

The "add 50 HP" table is a good idea, somebody should suggest it on the cobb forums

Heck, make it "add 100 HP". Why mess around.

I updated yesterday. When I plugged into the ECU it loaded up two spots in the map that had negative learning. One was -.35 the other was -3.15.
An ECU reset cleared them and I was on my way for more tuning. So far this morning no problems with negatives. However I would like to rescale the map so that I can get a better idea of where in the load points it is learning. 1.9 for a max seems very small.

I don't think you can rescale the knock learning map. It is just a view into a non-modifiable live ECU table.

Ecutek and likely Protuner can alter the axis numbers, but the ECU uses that table to remember areas that have knock.

You should be able to view it and see if the ecu is "learning" any load sites that have knock, if so, go in and lower the timing there so that the car doesn't have to ping and then learn about it...

Cobb is doing a VERY impressive job with this stuff.

A little trick Scotty taught me was to set the KC maps in a high load area all to the same value and change the primary table accordingly. That way you can quickly look over at a graph of the KC and know that your timing is where you want it at a glance. Pretty handy...
