IMO, I would not use the readings from the stock, primary O2 sensor for anything beyond 13.0 to 15.2:1...beyond that I have found them to be inaccurate under high loads.

ok, don't want to be too much of a newb, but are you saying that from AFRs of 12.9-0 its no good or are you saying 15.2-> the sky? Im guessing the former. Is the LC-1 a good enough setup for me? If I get that will I need anything else to make it work with my ST? Ive been reading so much recently that I have smoke coming out my ears. Sorry if Im asking silly questions.

hee, I am are newb too and I may not know what I am talking about. I agreed with what Christian said, he has beening giving me pointers coz I have issues with high EGT and I datalog everyday rather I am cruising to work or at WOT. the figures I got from the datalog complys with what Christian said..........Instead of the getting the LC-1, I got a Zeitronix WB o2. I think the design is sleek, there is no need to calibrate, it seamlessly integrates to ST, and it reads boost plus EGT too. Check out their website. Imagining yourself able to log EGT and Boost along with the rest of the data.(maybe I should have never plug in the EGT as I am finding it up to the roof and it scared me....)

the blue thing -

I don't want to scare you anymore, but, are you relying on your EGT readings from your WB location? I assume this is placed in your downpipe, post turbo (for accurate AFR readings), which will make this innaccurate for EGT. Unless the Ziex unit has a seperate tap for the proper EGT location.

my WB o2 is installed on the downpipe just aobut 3 " right after the turbo and the EGT is installed at the #3 manifold just before it meets the other one. I hope this is the right way to do it................

Any Innovate WB A/F units and the Zeitronix ZT-2 are already compatible with the AccessECU software.

Horhay, what I was saying is that you could rely on the A/F readings of the stock, primary O2 sensor for readings between 13.0:1 to 15.2:1 and that is about it. I would rely on a WB O2 sensor for anything beyond those points. I am on the dyno all day today, got to go.

Where did you get the EGT sensor and boost sensor to use with your Zeitronix unit? Did you buy them from Zeitronix? It does sound like a sweet setup. I'd gladly give up my Omori EGT gauge sensor for an integrated one that can log to StreetTUNER. I did post a question on innovate's forums to try to figure out how to integrate an EGT with the LC-1 because it does have a serial input. I know it can be done - and I know ST will log it ... but I don't see anyone who has done it yet with the LC-1.

Wolf, I think the set up is really sweet and it is more "complete" than innovative. yes, Boost sensor and EGT sensors are optional items that you can purchase from them. The way of how it works is that everything plugs in to the controler box that's about the size of a credit card. Then, the control box has a signal out for you to connect to the laptop and the display. The signal out is serial, but same as the ST, and serial to USB connection will solve the problem. My laptop only has USB and I am using serial to USB for both the ST and Zeitronix connections. I love the display because the size and built quality is similar to one of those Apex'i piggy back display and I got it mounted in the center gauge pod

by the way, when are you ready to share you map? as I am trying to play with the Knock A,B,C and I am not sure if I am doing everything right, hee hee

alrighty, sounds like I'll be getting a wideband very soon then. My problem with the Zeitronix is its a damned lot of money when all I want is the probes to plug in to my ST. I plan on having both EGT and 02, but I don't want to have to deal with a bunch more gauges and stuff. Trying to keep my interior stock looking. Can you do that with the Zeitronix?

OIC, so you have already looked into this option...

Well, if all you want is to get WB 02 and EGT integrated to ST, you can do that too........ the basic kit only comes with the WB controller and the WB sensor and everything else are optional. LC-1 price is very attractive, but I still would buy the Zeitronix if you ask me again......... considered the extra money you pay is to buy you the flexibility and simplicity in the future. (if you cared to log WB o2 in ST, then I assumed you would want to log accurate Boost and EGT sooner or later, and it is just a simple plug and play with Zeitronix)

don't take it wrong, I don't work for them and I hate their customer service in guts. I just think that it is a better setup all together
