Default Base ST map

Hey Guys,

I'm very seriously considering getting the ST for my '05, but I've been trying to find state of tune the base and RT map is? Do you get a base and RT map to start that is on par with the AP's maps or are you staring with a very safe base, which you have to completely tune? Basically where do you start as far as the maps go? I've read all of Cobb’s docs, but maybe I'm missing something. There seems to be a lot of info and Cobb’s forums, but it’s hard to dig though.

Thanks,
Rob

PS, I'd really like to get this forum kicking

There is a single map for each of stage 1 and stage 2. No 91/93 octane maps or HWG/LWG.

I had been running AP Stage 2 93 HWG, and after tweaking the wastegate mapping, ST stage 2 felt faster.

Jay is correct, and you also get a 100% stock map, it is built into the software, go to file open stock map. i believe it is so you can start from scratch if you wish.

Rob,

Another good source of information would be the Cobb reseller you make your purchases from. If you have some specific questions...shoot. Have you checked the Cobb Streettuner forum??

04 Sil/Sil STI
Cobb Streettuner, Cobb D/P, 12.60s@113 ;-), yeah some guages and some suspension mods too.

FYI Post:

Ok, I talked with Trey at Cobb. He said they try to get the ST base files close to the "typical" AP 91 base map as possible to get us a "good" stating point for tuning.
