Default What about a constructive discussion on specific map screenshots?

Hey gang,

Instead of just running a "blind map" ... how about posting up some screen shots along with active discussion on pros cons of particular cell values.

Would the membership group learn more by taking this route?

Just an idea..

Here is an older screen shot of a data log. Oh, lets see if the group can find out what is different in this data log. There is something extra in there...

BTW,

A Stage 2 STI with TBE put down 12.71 at 111mph times on that above logged map. Good numbers? You decide.

I have since rewrote the timing tables and have new tests planned including some dyno time in the near future.

Thoughts?

As mentioned on Cobb's board ... really looking forward to expressing my thoughts as soon as I log some data Can't wait to chat with you about the timing stuff ... but will refrain until I am up to speed. In any case ... 111mph on a stage II setup is really really badass for just a simple stage II setup. Can't wait to see what he does with the new timing stuff.

My only thoughts are in relation to boost creep. You had indicated that you pumped up the timing a little ... and, of course you leaned it out. Combine both of those with boost creep and isn't it a little dangerous given that Cobb doesn't have boost cut until 22-23psi. That type of PSI on a VF39 creates a really hot intake charge due to the FV39 being WAY out of it's efficiency range. Thoughts?

You need to hook me up Dave. I see this white evo with a glairing blond on a cell phone that I need to spank like a cheap hooker. Im sure I could take another evo, but another 30-40 horse couldnt hurt. Just get the account and all will be well
