IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | Hi guys. I have a 07 STI that is all stock except for the AP. I have Stage 1 1.04 map installed and the car won't let me rev past 5.5k! When I install any other map for temp reflash the car revs it out all the way with no problems! If I reinstall the same map as a temporary, the car runs fine. But when I run the car for 100 miles on any map that same problem comes back! I can't rev past 5.5k. It is like hitting a rev limiter! I called Cobb and a employee said he had no clue and he has to look into it. He never called back! I also did a reflash of the ECU and disconnected the battery but still no fix! The car has 16,000 miles on it and 99% of the time I don't wind past 3k! Can someone please help me?![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This ad is not endorsed by this member. How about getting online and down loading software for the AP. If you car works fine with other maps and not that would it is obvious that something is wrong with that map so work on replaceing that map. Also, you unplugging you battery and all is going to do nothing because the Stage 1 map is a base map and will stay flashed to the ecu even if you disconnect the battery. |

| Silver Member | Any other mods? Just for the hell of it, try adjusting your FFS and LC points up. That shouldn't be causing this but I would give it a shot.... |

When I got protuned the last time at xxtuning. chris set me up with the base map that stays on the car even if battery dies then I have to either flash my realtime catless map on or my hi flow cat on. So I will know if something happend to the realtime map he made it so my car only revs to 3500 rpms that way I know I need to relash my realtime. |

IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | Yeah I agree! I uninstalled the AP and did the whole update to the new software on the AP. I am going to drive for a week on the Stock Subaru map and go back to the Cobb and see what happens. Also the Subaru map is the newest one out! |
