Default Using a Tactrix cable with StreetTuner?

I have read that a few of you guys are using tactrix cable with SteetTuner. How are you guys doing this? I only have one serial port, and dont want to spend money on a serial to usb adapter if I can use my tactrix cable. All healp is appreciated.

Are you using the 'COBB USB cable' option?
Tactrix drivers installed?
COBB drivers (if any) installed?

I just plug in my tactrix cable and choose com2 (that's what the cable shows up as) rather than com1. Done.

When I plug it in it just acts like there is no cable at all. There is nothing but com1, because I tried that. I tried to use the cobb usb option and it still didnt work. I didnt have to use any drivers when I use the tactrix cable for anything else.

You'll probably need to use the VCP driver for the FTDI chip the Tatrix cable uses, otherwise the cable does not show up as a COM port.

I had to download ECUflash to get the tactrix drivers. I couldn't find them any where else.

FYI, the Tatrix/ECUFlash drivers are the same as what you get from FTDI.

Ya its to tune your own car. I was using enginuity for a while, streettuner has more features. It is pretty much protuner for personal use. If you do a search you will find alot of info about it.

You cant flash anything with StreetTuner. If you want to flash a StreetTUNER map, you have to save it as a base map to your AP THEN flash it to your ECU.

You can run realtime maps directly from the StreetTUNER interface though.
