Question Cel P2008

I just got a CEL on my STI 06 currently running Cobb Street Tuner base map, P2008 is some kind of open circuit on intake tumble valve Bank 1...can anyone explain me which one is Bank1 and any other hints on how to isolate the problem to the root cause.

Thanks

i'd have to grab a manual, but if its a circuit low code, a connector is unplugged.

Question Re: Cel P2008

All connectors to tumble valve motors and sensor were verify today but CEL will come up after an ECU reset. Can you tell me which side of the motor is BANK 1?

Thanks,

I have data for 2005 MY your terminal numbers may vary.

P2008
Bank1 is Right Hand side

Check pins 8 & 9 on ECM connector B134
If less than 1 ohm check connection at TGV actuator connector or replace the actuator.
Otherwise there is an open in the harness. There are three segments in the harness. ECM (B134-8&9) to F74/B200-7&18 to E2/F61-5&6 to TGV actuator (E55-1&2).

Hope that helps.

Right hand side = Pass side....

If you have a left hand drive car then yes.

Thanks,
Connectors are not labeled. I suggest you get a three day subscription to the Subaru Technical Information System all of the (current) info you need to troubleshoot your particular Subaru.
