Default Feeler/FS: (MO) 06 WRB STI, 12k miles ~$28k

Just trying to get a feeler on my 06 STI, good-to-excellent shape. Daily driver, very minor paint chips on hood, one scratch on driver side. minor wear on center console from radar detector cable rubbing.

All stock, I did the intake 'silencer' delete but will put it back on.

Deal will come with:

Stock gold wheels (a couple of them rashed a bit) with Hankook icebears (for winter). Also have the stock potenza tires stored in basement with little mileage/plenty of tread

Gram Lights 57f (copper color) w/ Kuhmo SPT's mounted and balanced (currently on car). NO RASH/DAMAGE, almost new.

Stock installed parts:
Fog lights

Getting rid of car because I got a speeding ticket for 98 in a 60 , wasn't paying attention and got nailed.. Will be paying massive fine + jail for a weekend + lovely points.. Lawyer can't really help me since the county this was in is 'no tolerance'. My own fault, but I won't let it happen again so I'm thinking of getting rid of the car.

Taking offers at this point, PM me. If you're offering, be sure to note whether or not offer includes the gram lights/tires.

Selling the car because you got a speeding ticket doesn't seem like a very logical decision.

Almost any car you buy will be able to go 98 in a 60. It's up to you to keep it under control.

If you learn from the mistake, the STi could still be a suitable car for you.

Back to the original problem of getting the ticket....a friend of mine got caught going 112 on the interstate near Kansas City. His strategy was to go to court and have his lawyer get a continuance or a postponement. That happened three times. When he was finally out of possible delays, he went to court and the traffic officer was not there, so the charges were dismissed.

I kidded him that the fine he was going to have to pay was going to be so big that they'd name a section of the highway after him. However, it worked out for him. The only thing he paid was attorney's fees.

Thanks for the concern and advice, it's my understanding though (at least in this state) that the officer doesn't need to be there on any of the court dates (postponed or not). At least that was my experience from going to traffic courts in the past, in Missouri.. This situation of course may be different since it was excessive speeding, I have no idea.

'Don't do the crime if you can't do the time', at this point in my life I can't afford to take off a day of work let alone spend a couple days in jail, not to mention the huge insurance increase I'm about to take. (I'm a contractor working hourly). Again this thread is just to get a feeler, I haven't decided yet on selling my car. I love it, but I just needed to put this out there to check over my options.
