IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2006 Trader Rating: (1) | ![]() ![]() ![]() Jake here, formerly of Xotic Motorsports/Verocious Motorsports (Andy Brahy) Due to some "life changes", Katie and I will be selling our beloved JDM GC. Having made my career working on Subaru's for the last 6 years, I can confidently say that this is one of the most fun and potent Suby's on the road. One of the most complete conversions I've seen, basically a left hand drive 1998 STi with a V7 motor and V8 twinscroll. This car started out as a 1998 2.5 RS. It was stripped to bare chassis and rebuilt by MSPT (Metric Subaru) and tuned by Clark Turner. Almost nothing left undone. We have a very complete collection of all relevent reciepts and documents for the car. My friends refer to it as the "Ultimate Subaru" - It's light, forged, and twinscroll. Here is a video of the car being tuned by Clark Exterior jdm front corner lamps jdm tail lights jdm v4-6 rear bumper jdm v4-6 rear spats jdm v1-4 front bumper jdm v4 front lip jdm rear wiper ![]() Hella FF1000 fog lights NEW 225/50/16 Falken Azenis on 98 Goldies Interior sti v4 seats and door panels sti v4 gauge cluster sti v7 steering wheel sti door sills defi link system with boost gauge prodrive floor mats indash 6disk CD player MB quart speakers front and rear trunk light glovebox light compass pack Brakes subaru red 4 pot front brakes subaru red 2 pot rear brakes Hawk HP+ pads Goodridge Stainless Lines Suspension Prodrive springs STi/Bilstein struts STI lateral links STI trailing arms STI CF front strut bar 05 STI front sway bar 02 WRX rear sway bar GTSpec rear strut bar Motor/Transmission 8250 RPM Redline! STI v7 motor (approx 60K) STI v8 twinscroll vf37 AVO wastegate Perrin fuel rails Walbro fuel pump JDM GC8 radiator GTSpec Intercooler Splitter Tomei Divorced JDM Downpipe Fujitsubo RM01A catback exhaust 1994 WRX transmission with 4.11 F/D Clark Turner Tuned, conservative 290/310 VERY wide powerband Boost peaks at 23psi and tapers to 19psi Added JDM front and rear bumer beams 90% of the sound deadening taken out plate under crossmember and glove box weight removed Included spare parts ANOTHER set of goldies with Dunlop SP Winter rubber (60-70%) Stock rear windsheild more... also has "impreza" trunk mat sunroof deflector AUD headlight covers(passenger one has a crack in it) kartboy short throw shifter is installed comes with stock tails, low armrest, rubber floor mats. I'm sure there are things I am forgetting. The bad: There are a few scuffs and dings on the body, and the hood has not yet been upgraded to aluminum. The transmission will also begin to age in the next few years. Although the chassis has close to 200K on it, all relevant parts which are subject to age have been upgraded (on a good note). If I were keeping the car, I would install a set of PPG dog cut gears. There are also a series of bent fins on the V7 intercooler from a powerwasher accident This is annoying to look at, but does not affect performance. The car should be ready for sale by next week, and of course, title in hand. The value of it may be a bit tricky to judge, but safe to say we will not give it away. PM me if you'd like to take a look in person. I have no problem shipping it. Let's start around $16,500 Dyno chart teaser: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

| dances with roads | From the outside it looks so..... ....stock. A sleeper to be sure! I live close by, I'm tempted to tell you I'm interested just to get a ride. But I can't be buying another car just now, so I guess this is just a free bump for a great interpretation of the best looking Impreza ever. |

IWSTI Addict since: Feb 2006 Trader Rating: (1) | Hey sorry- Yes as Chaos said we are in West Chester, PA and the car did pass inspection. Tell your wife the insurance is cheap since it is still "just a 98 RS" as far as they know! Jake |
