This car is really, really fast. High 11's 1/4 mile, 170+ Miles an hour kind of fast
I don't want to sell it, but it has cost me a fortune to get it to where it is now, and I am just tired of working on it, plus I now have a new car to pay off.
ANSWERING SOME QUESTIONS:
1- This car is my only car and my daily driver. I have driven it across the country a couple of times (3000+ mile trips) which is where the high mileage comes from. The current engine has under 4000 miles on it though; it just got completely rebuilt with forged pistons and race bearings.
2- It gets 27MPG highway and was tuned to run on 91 octane. I only run it on 93 though.
3- No CELs, no mechanical problems.
You can see how I did the original swap here
The V8 Engine swap info is here.
This is not all current; it doesn't show the 3rd iteration with the forged pistons, etc. But it gives you an idea.
VIDEOS:
Boost Response
Autocross (prior to the car being tuned or having coilovers)
It has:
New engine (4000 miles)
Newly rebuilt transmission (12 miles)
New Clutch Hydraulic Master and Slave Cylinder
New Clutch (Spec Stage 3+)
New Flywheel
New Power Steering Pump
New Rear wheel bearings
The engine itself is worth about 5 grand. Throw in the full coilovers, swaybars, $1000 audio system, and the ENORMOUS amount of labor that went into the car (most places charge 6grand+ for an engine swap) and you will see how much money I am losing selling this. But its got to go.

SOLD!

Sweet ride. You should probably now edit the thread title to a FS: location, model year, etc., so people can find it easier.

For those who don't want to be bothered to read the NASIOC thread:

The body is a 1999 2.5RS, clean title. It has 111 000 miles. The engine has under 4000 miles on it; I had it rebored and put forged pistons, the kevlar timing belt, high pressure oil pump and race bearings in it, as well as all new gaskets.
I did the engine swap myself with the help of an experienced mechanic (Tim Sanderson: He also does all the work on my car). The wiring was done over the course of 6 days: I am a double major in mechanical and electrical engineering and took the extra time to solder and heat shrink everything. Lachute Performance completed the wiring by adding an intake air temperature sensor so they could flash the ECU to JDM STI Version 6 Type RA, which gives the car automatic intercooler spray. The ECU was also ECUTEK flashed at the time. The flash + work they did alone cost $2100. The car has over $15000 invested in it, not counting the price of the car itself. I am the second owner; I bought it from a doctor in NY (original owner) just under 3 years ago.
It is in good condition with the occasional dings you would expect from a 8 year old car. There is a small dent on the fenders. I was going to get them pulled by a ding doctor but never got around to it.

And finally, why am I selling this instead of the STI?
Basically I ran out of time money and patience to work on it, and wanted something with a warranty. I've regreted it already just because of how disappointingly slow the STI is, but whatever, at least its got a nicer interior and a warranty, right?

Here are some videos of the RS in action... Check them out if you want to see what 320HP does in a 2800lbs body:

Its hard not to know the car. I believe I may have seen the car in milwaukee, forgot when. And I go to tech as well. Ha, hows that for coincidence. I may have to stop by and check the beast out before she sells.
