| Lurker | PRICE: $17,600 My baby WRX is up for sale. It's a 2004 World Rally Blue Subaru Impreza WRX with a 5-speed manual transmission. It has just rolled oved 39K miles last week. I am the original owner of this car since it was driven off the lot at Village Subaru. This WRX has been my daily driver for the last 2 years. Originally, I was planning to keep it for a long, long time however my plans have changed now so it is up for sale to go to a good owner that will take care of it as much as I did. VIN: JF1GD29684G509715 Here are facts about the car that will tell you why this car is different from most other WRXs on the market and hopefully it will also give you an idea of its condition: 1. The car was properly broken in based on Subaru's instructions. 2. The engine oil has been changed regularly with synthetic oil which is critical to assure maximum engine and turbo health. 3. Transmission and differential oils were replaced at 30K miles with correctly matched synthetic oils as recommended by Subaru. 4. Brake fluid was replaced at 35K miles with quality ATE Blue brake fluid to assure proper brake function. Old brake fluid collects moisture and compromises the car safety. DOT certified stainless brake lines were installed along with the fluid to assure long line life and performance. 5. The body (including undercarriage and engine bay) and wheels were washed and waxed regularly to protect the paint, wheels and undercarriage components from damaging chemicals on the road and assure the car would look good for a long time. 6. This car was never raced at an autocross, speed track or any other car sporting event. Racing history is quite common on a lot of pre-owned WRXs. 7. It was garaged for the first 25K miles of its life. 8. Has seen snow only several times. As ironic as it sounds, I drive my wife's Rav4 in the snow. I hate to subject my WRX to the salt on the ground when it is first dropped on the streets. 9. Will easily pass safety and emmissions inspection in MA. I just renewed my sticker in January and it passed with flying colors. 10. No reliability compromising mods were done to this car, ever. It never had a blow off valve, large turbo or an intake installed which can compromise car's reliability in a long term. This car was at Cobb's Stage 2 for about a year. Still purrs the same as the day I drove it off the lot. 11. No smoking was ever allowed in the car. The interior looks and smells clean. As you can probably tell from the list, I have taken excellent care of it. The car has only several, tasteful mods on it. The mod list is as follows: 1. Factory installed OEM WRX spoiler (optional on 04+ models) 2. OEM STI front bumber side splitters (come standard on STI) 3. Uppipe 4. Fender snorkel silencer removed 5. Amsoil high flow air filter 6. Subaru OEM STI struts, springs and top hats 7. DOT certified Goodridge stainless brake lines and ATE Blue brake fluid 8. Clarion CD/MP3/cassette double-din car stereo, plays regular CDs, CDs with MP3s and cassettes. Cassette port is hidden behind the foldable face so if you don't use cassettes, it does not waste valuable deck face real estate. To sweeten the deal, with the car, I will include my summer wheels and tires which have about 3K miles on them. I will include locking lug nuts that protect them from theft as well as regular lug nuts that came with the wheels and also tire stems in case a need ever arises to replace them. The wheels are Enkei RP02 18" silver wheels. They're very light, 18 lbs./wheel, and are extremely durable which is key for North East roads. These are not your average heavy rims, 25 lbs.+, that slow the car down and cost you gas economy. These wheels are M.A.T. formed, a manufacturing process that produces near forged wheel durability at cast wheel cost. If you question Enkei's name brand, Enkei produces OEM wheels for many car manufacturers including Subaru. These are quality, functional wheels with correctly matched offset, +48mm. The wheels will come with Cooper Zeon ZPT 225/40-18 tires mounted and balanced, ready to be put on the car. The tires also have 3K miles on them. The wheels are flawless without any scratches or rim rash and look amazing on the car...but that is just my opinion IF you do not want the Enkei wheels included, I will discount the price to account for that. It's up to you what you want. Please contact me if you have questions and are serious about purchasing this car. I will upload more pictures soon with more interior shots. The picures are with the Enkei wheels as well as stock 16" wheels. You get both in the deal unless you specify otherwise. You can call me (508) 245-0161 between hours of 9am-9:30pm all week long.
