Alright, I don't want everyone to freak out, but I'm considering selling my 2008 STI. I love this car, and to be perfectly honest, I'm having second thoughts about even posting this. The car just turned a year old in December, and it only has 10,000 miles on it. I'm probably a bit biased, but it's one of the best looking and sounding 08 STI's I've ever seen. You can decide for yourself, pictures are at the bottom of this post.
The car is still under factory warranty until December of 2012. Exterior: 9/10 The exterior is in excellent condition. There are a few minor rock chips that any car is going to have from driving on the freeway. They're extremely small (2mm or so) and you can only see them if you're looking for them standing over the car. Otherwise, no dings, dents, etc. The car has lived in a garage since I bought it.
Interior: 9.5/10 The interior is like new. I give it a 9.5 out of 10 simply because I've put items in the rear hatch area, and as such, there are some minor surface marks / light scratches to the black plastic in the rear section. The actual passenger compartment has no scratches, tears, cracks, cigarette burns, etc. For that matter, a cigarette has never come within 10 feet of this car.
The car has been well taken care of, and unlike most STI's, never abused. I've got plenty of track cars to abuse, so the STI has never been to the track or raced. This wasn't some weekend warrior, it was strictly a daily driver. And to that extent, I work from home, some my "daily" driving isn't much driving at all.
The mods:
I am willing to sell the car with or without the mods. Personally, I think they transform this car. They're very tasteful and any enthusiast would want to do exactly what I've already done. I'm going to post the mods below along with their original value.
- SSR Type-F Wheels (Silver) in 18x9 ($3,000) - only 17 pounds!
- Dunlop Z1 Starspec Tires in 245 ($650) - The stickiest streetable tires around.
- MXP (Mackin Industries) 3" Turboback Exhaust ($1700) - the best sounding exhaust I've ever heard for this car.
- AccessPort Stage 2 tune ($650)
- BC Racing BR Coilovers ($1,000) - Surprisingly comfortable (Grandma approved!), yet very sporty and performance oriented.
- 3M Tint all the way around - 50% windshield and front windows, 35% rear windows and hatch.
- Valentine 1 Radar Detector hard wire
- Fog light and grille pieces painted black
Factory options:

-Homelink Autodimming Mirror
-Fog Lights
The KBB value for the car is $30,500 without any factory options (or mods obviously). The car is located in Irvine.

I would like to sell the car to someone on IWSTI that can actually appreciate it. As such, I don't mind giving an IWSTI member an EXTREMELY good deal on all of the mods, or even including them for free, depending on the offer. If you'd prefer a completely stock car I can return the car to stock as I still have the stock suspension, exhaust, etc. I'll probably make several thousand dollars more parting out my mods rather than including them with the car, but I'd rather save myself the time and make an enthusiast happy.
