| Junior STI Driver | Some of you may remember me, I've been here and there on this board asking questions. I've wanted an '05 STi for about a year now but then I was starting to lean towards an '04 G35 mostly because it is more affordable. However, I fell back in love with STi's and came across "this one": Cars For Sale: Car Details - AutoTrader.com Now, I've done my share of research as far as buying a used STi and what not, but what comes into play with something like this? What should I be looking for? What do you guys think? Thanks. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

Second red flag: 2005 and up = 5x114.3 so nothing was "converted" as he claims it to be. And just FYI, I've seen higher milage STI swaps going for more $$, so just be careful. If you go to look at it make sure all the body panels line up and there's no sign of overspray anywhere. | |

| Junior STI Driver | Oh, cool I didn't know. I think I should just try to earn the extra cash and get a real '05; but to that seller: good luck with the sale. Thanks for the replies. |
