Price: $22k firm with these seats and parts.
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Well the time has come to sell my baby and get into something that suits my needs and cross country commutes better. Would consider partial trade for a well maintained Forester XT.

This is a very fast and well set up and tastefully modded 2004 World Rally Blue STi with 45.xxx mostly highway miles. According to the previous owner (an older female car enthusiast), this was the first WRB 04 registered in the nation. Very reliable car, never given me a problem.

Engine: - Oil checked regularly and changed at 2000-3500 with either Mobil 1 or Royal Purple 5w30 and Subaru OEM filters.
- Its very common for STis to burn up to a quart of oil every 3k. This car burns no oil.
- Stock until 38,000 miles when I went Stage 2.
- Engenuity Tuned by Cameron Dawes (CAMTuning.com - Home) to 285whp/325wtq (about 360/400 @ the crank) on 91
- A stage 2 tune is the best motor mod for STis and does not compromise the reliability of the vehicle.
- Helix Catted and wrapped Down Pipe
- Borla XR-1 Catback (best sounding exhaust IMO, not too loud or droning)
- Prodrive Boost Solenoid
- Vehicle passes smog, has no CELs

Suspension/Drivetrain: Very well sorted suspension setup.
- Race Comp Engineering Yellow Springs
- Whiteline 27-29mm F, 24mm R Adjustable Sway bars
- Kartboy Aluminum Endlinks

- Kartboy bushings: shifter, pivot, tranny X member = connected feeling stock shifter lacks.
- A common problem with 04s is the 5th gear syncro grind, these syncros were replaced under warranty at 36k miles, tech said everything in the tranny looked great
- At that time I opted to put in a new OEM clutch sooner rather than later, so you have few miles and 0 abuse on that

Brakes: Stock Brembos
Ferodo DS2500 F/R Pads
COBB SS Brake Lines
Motul 600 fluid

Audio: Pioneer Deck with monster Cable ipod direct aux hookup. Infinity speakers up front, Boston Acoustics in the rear. Sounds great.

Interior:
- True Blue/Black JDM STi Recaros, fully adjustable and tilt forward unlike stock seats
There are only a handful of these seats in the nation, and to my knowledge this is the ONLY set in the States in this color
Very rare, sell used for $1500-2000, feel amazing and get rid of the terrible stock seats and their bobble head effect that plagues the STi feel
- Black Kartboy aluminum shift knob
- I also have MadDad Boost, EGT, and Oil Temp gauges with an ATi center dash gauge pod I’ve been meaning to put on since the tune that are available

Service:
- Always well serviced and maintained
- Major 15k, 30k dealer services completed
- NEVER had a mechanical problem with this car and don’t expect to, these are built to last and do not have the weak tranny issues of the WRX
- The only issue I’ve ever had was an ECU plug came loose tripping the TPS sensor, plugged it back in and problem solved

Exterior:
Cleared front grill
WRX trunk

Imperfections:
Both front and rear fenders repainted due to cosmetic paint imperfections caused by other drivers. First owner got the front backed into (<5 mph), repainted the front bumper. I had someone clip the rear in a parking, decided to repaint it rather than touch it up. Absolutely no damage to the car, purely superficial in both incidents.

Not a show car: Small rock chips and scratches from driving a car this low, dings from daily driving.

Other:
- Never taken to the drag strip, never launched, tracked a handful of times and always performed admirably

- Including all stock parts: exhaust, springs, sways, pads (good life left) boost solenoid, etc (except for stock seats) and the number of random parts and bushings I have that I didn’t need or didn’t have time to put on

- Buyer has the option of either the 18x8.5 5zigen FNO1RC with new 235/40/18 Falken Azenis RT-615s or the OEM BBS painted graphite with Dunlop Winter Sport 3Ds with good tread.

- Will be detailed before sale.

Notice: I am NOT parting out right now, however If you're local and want the seats we can talk.

Feel free to contact my by cell anytime. Willing to give test rides/drives to those seriously interested.

Thanks for looking! Please pass this on if you know of anyone looking!

235/40/18 Falken RT615s, less than 1000 miles
