Understandably pricey and a really nice car.

Thanks. The price is definitely flexible, but you are getting a lot for your money. I appreciate the comments, and just want to state that the car still retains great drivability and still has all the comforts of A/C, PS, and gets 20mpg on average!

Wow! That has to be one of the nicest reversed manifold setups I have ever seen!

The compression numbers I tested back in January, and they were all between 155-160psi across the board. The transmission shifts flawlessly, no grinds or anything like that. I have never even launched the car because I just don't feel like possibly breaking it, even though I know they are supposed to be near bullet-proof. I came from an Evo/DSM background where the transmissions had to be built in order to be reliable, so I decided I wanted to go easy on the STi since it is such a nice car, and i didn't want to beat on it, lol. The clutch really has no more pedal pressure than stock, but holds great, never slips, and has pretty much factory engagement (not an on/off switch).

Thanks, Agile Auto did a top notch job. It looks like it should have come from the factory that way.

Sorry noob question here. What is a reversed intake manifold, and what are the benefits of having one?

No problem. Reversed intake manifold refers to the direction that the throttle body and manifold faces. It usually faces toward the back of the car, but by reversing its orientation to face the front of the car the length of your intercooler piping is shortened significantly when using a front mount intercooler. The shorter charge piping means a quicker spool time with less pressure loss in the system.

I'd rather just sell it to someone and let them enjoy it, plus I don't have a lot of the stock parts, so after parting it out I would have a nonfunctional car. Why take apart good work though? I know I could make more money doing it that way, but I would rather sell it whole.

Gotcha, but you could always ask for cash plus stock parts that you need...
