Well, im putting my project up for sale. Im not going to have the funds i was planning on having to finish it in any sort of a timely fasion, so its up for grabs. This car has had meticulous mechanical maintenace. It comes with everything you need to go with a bigger turbo except for the turbo and engine management. Read more for details.

The skinny...
1988 300zx Turbo
-5spd manual
-142k miles
-completely rebuilt and refreshed OEM motor with new OEM clutch at 120k
-new steering rack at 120k
-all new driveline belts and timing belt at 135k

I can trace this car back to its original owner, it has had one mechanic work on it its entire life, and he happens to fancy 80's japanese cars(Ira@foreign automotive, he has a beautiful Starion :twisted: ).

Car went on jack-stands at 135k to install mods and perform timing belts and driveline belt changes.

Mods installed...
-Tokico Illumina 5 way struts
-Tokico 1" drop springs
-all poly bushings including poly dif mount
-short throw with stock shift knob
-3" catless TBE with magna-flow muffler(sounds awesome!)
-MBC set to 10psi
-K&N big cone intake
-Rebuilt and painted OEM turbo brakes with new slotted and cross-drilled rotors.
-17x9 +20 Voxx Misano wheels with 245/40/17 Falken Ziex ZE-512's(about 75% left)
-aluminum hubcentric rings with Gorrila locking lugs
-Real HID's with ballasts(sick!)
-Pioneer 6.5" in the rear
-custome installed 6.5" audio-bahns in the front

-MK-IV supra side mount IC
-2.5" aluminized steel piping with numerous silicon couplers and t-bolt clamps
-8 dsm 440cc injectors with top mount fuel rails
-z32 maf
-Ka24d throttle body
-stock turbo wheels

-new un-painted passenger fender

I have kept every reciept for any item that i have ever purchased for the car. I have a folder of them, and i will include them with the car.

About the car. Its pretty damn clean all around. Has some hail damage on the hood and passenger fender, there is also some paint fading as this is its original paint job. It has not been in any wrecks. The interior is clean as well, all the original gauges and dials work, the dash is super clean with no cracks. The oil has been changed meticulously every 3-4k miles as well as the oil filter. It has always been run on 93oct. It has never given me any troubles and cranks everytime. The car ran a 14.4@98mph on 10psi with the stock T25! It doesnt smoke and have any unusual noises. The trans is in awesome shape and doesnt grind in any gear unless cold(2'nd gear can be tempremental when cold).

A few negatives about the car...
-The car has an N/A open dif in it. It was replaced by the pervious owner when his CLSD started to whine.
-i have removed the cruise, but i did keep the module so it can be re-installed if you choose
-the a/c still works but it doesnt blow as cold as it used to
-the car only has a driver seat, and it is out of 89(still all power controls, and they all work). The seat has some tears and what not. I sold the original seats out of the car with the intent putting seats of my choosing in it.

For those that dont know, this is the VG30ET motor. The short block is VERY similar to a z32 turbo block, as well is the transmission. The complete drivetrain is bullet proof from the factory. I would suggest a big turbo and nitrous immediately after purchase...that was my plan. As said earlier, everything is included to go big turbo, just buy the big turbo and the engine management.

This would be a very affordable, relaible, and nice project car for anyone looking to try and keep their hands from tearing up their suby. Or it would make for a relaible DD as well, your choice
