I don't want to rain on her parade but that's EXTREMELY overpriced.

If I were you I'd tell her that she shouldn't be hoping for any more than $8000 for it, and would be lucky just to get that.

I went by KBB, why are you saying it's overpriced? Or are you referring more to supply and demand?

I didn't know the KBB was that high. I was going more by the fact that my roommate's dad sold his 99 or 00 S430 for just a hair more than that with something like 90k on it. That and all S420's on eBay with similar miles are around 8-9k.

If that's what KBB says though, I don't know. Intuition to me says that a 13 year old car with 100k+ on the clock should go for less that 11k.

Edit: Just KBB'd it with my zip code, and got 9.2k for the listed miles and options and excellent condition. So it could just be a difference of where we live...

I feel sorry for his dad. These cars are 90K-100K new, if they lose 90% of their value in 8 years that's pretty sad.
