IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | SOLD 2006 350Z Track Edition *Under 26,000 miles on chassis *Less than 9,000 miles on engine (Engine replaced at 17,308 miles. Full long block replacement. Call me for details.) *Garage Kept *Never had any engine modifications on current block *Washed weekly *Rev-up motor *Ray’s 18/19 inch rims *60k mile warranty *Extended full service plan covering all regular maintenance; including all oil changes, fluid changes, belt changes, etc. Cost 2k when we purchased the car new. *Bridgestone Potenza RE050A Pole Position Summer Rated tires (tread somewhere around 60/95% tread front/back). Don’t be fooled, The RE050A PP combine the wear characteristics of the stock RE050, but have grip equal to the Michelin PS2. Tires cost me $270 per tire. *Apex’i ExTi Single Outlet Exhaust, titanium muffler (Stock exhaust comes with it, will replace upon request of buyer). Stock muffler is 40lb + mid-pipe, Apex’i muffler is 5lb + mid-pipe. Great sound, and as quiet as stock when silencer is in place. Noticed 2mpg improvement after installed. *Varis air duct *Front bumper has rock chips, and has scratches from low ground clearance. *Hatch has a single, dull, but long scratch; Rear right fender has 2 scratches; one of the side view mirrors has a scratch as well. All of these scratches should be gone after a good buff (except for the side view mirror scratch). *Most (if not all) scratches can be buffed out (car has never been buffed) *Clear front reflectors (yellow ones will be given as well) *Stock Brembo Calipers, excellent brake feel. *Hawk HPS Pads with Brembo Slotted sport rotors. *Fully synthetic oil has been run AFTER proper 1200-mile break-in. Conventional Nissan oil was run during break-in. Motul 8100 (5W-30) run currently. Although dealer covers all oil changes, I think Motul full synthetic oil is better than the conventional oil Nissan puts into most of their cars. Only 3 makes provide fully synthetic motor oil: Motul, Amsoil, and Mobil One. All others are synthetic blends. Unless it says, "Fully synthetic" or "100% synthetic," it's not. *Broken-in properly, under 4k rpm for 1200 miles, kept it under 3k rpm for the first 300 miles just to be safe. *Car is completely stock except for the Titanium muffler, and the air duct. *Last year Track edition was made. *Although I am the second owner, the previous owner was my brother. All of the Car’s history has been kept in my family. We have all service records and purchase records. *Previous owner (my brother) put an Injen intake on the previous engine, in which the intake subbed against the hood. He was such an idiot; he took a hammer and bent the hood until it wouldn’t rub. Photo is below. Thankfully, stupidity isn’t genetic. I apologize for his stupidity. *Clean title, no accidents, perfect for anyone who wants a daily driven chick-magnet. *Greddy 1.3 Radiator cap. *K&N drop in air-filter. Best intake upgrade (other than Top Secret Individual Throttle bodies )SOLD (I took KBB offer for 26k miles plus offer for 9k miles divided by 2; Car was set as good condition) If you have any questions or would like to stop by for a look, call me (Paul) at (949) 422-6649. I may be working, so leave a message and I will call you back within 24 hours. PM me if you’d like, I check the forums daily. I will not give joy rides, so if you want a test drive, please be ready to show that you have a sufficient ability to pay (if you were to buy). I will give anyone interested a quick ride, but I will drive. I do this as respect to the future owner. Do not hesitate to ask any questions or stop by for a look. The car looks as stunning in person as it does in photos. My address is in ths general area: to: 33.572508,-117.67971 - Google Maps Reason for selling: Fantastic car, but I need more room. I am selling this car so I can get something with four doors and a decent sized boot. I have loaded up all the photos you should need to decide whether this is even worth a look. Out of respect to the 56K people, I put links because most of the photos are 1280px X 800px. ![]() KBB Offer screen shots: http://s161.photobucket.com/albums/t206/Breakyoselfvq35/?action=view¤t=Selling1.jpg http://s161.photobucket.com/albums/t206/Breakyoselfvq35/?action=view¤t=selling2.jpg Driver’s door panel: http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t206/Breakyoselfvq35/DSCF3182.jpg Steering wheel: http://s161.photobucket.com/albums/t206/Breakyoselfvq35/?action=view¤t=DSCF3183.jpg Odometer: http://s161.photobucket.com/albums/t206/Breakyoselfvq35/?action=view¤t=DSCF3184.jpg Center console: http://s161.photobucket.com/albums/t206/Breakyoselfvq35/?action=view¤t=DSCF3185.jpg Shift knob/console: http://s161.photobucket.com/albums/t206/Breakyoselfvq35/?action=view¤t=DSCF3186.jpg Pedals: http://s161.photobucket.com/albums/t206/Breakyoselfvq35/?action=view¤t=DSCF3187.jpg Outside walk around: http://s161.photobucket.com/albums/t206/Breakyoselfvq35/?action=view¤t=DSCF3191.jpg http://s161.photobucket.com/albums/t206/Breakyoselfvq35/?action=view¤t=DSCF3193.jpg http://s161.photobucket.com/albums/t206/Breakyoselfvq35/?action=view¤t=DSCF3194.jpg Rims (Note: a moronic painter had a white paint can dropped off his truck, and he didn’t clean it up. Consequently, the paint got on my tires, which then got into my wheel well. I was unable to clean it off, but it is barely noticeable. Wheels themselves were not damaged in any way.) | Professional STI Racer | Bump for NICE Z. I traded my 03 Black Touring for my 07 STi. I really miss the Z, but love the STi also. I need to have both cars ![]() Engine replaced due to oil consumption issue on the 06s? or did you Blow it with FI? Nice car though. Good luck. |

IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2007 Trader Rating: (0) | Nothing to do with FI. The previous owner was my brother, and he installed a motordyne 5/16 plenum and MREV 2. What he didn't do was tune it right after. Then I got it, and went to willow springs. The engine was running realy lean (because of no tune), combined with extreme heat, the engine burned itself to death. I took off the parts right after it blew. |
