Hi, may someone tell me what 1.06 hotside mean? What does 1.06 signify and what does hotside mean? Thanks alot.

hey newB

Its the turbine housing on the turbo....also called hotside. It's the aspect ratio measurement on the turbine housing. In laymans terms, the bigger the number the more the exhaust flow through it.

I run a .82, burnin4 had the .82 and now is rocking the 1.06.

It allows for more power through the engine due to increased exhaust flow and less back pressure (basically), at a cost of increased boost threashold and lag.

No way I'd sell a beast like that, atleast not just yet. Kinda OT but May 9th and 10th they are shooting a Pinks All Out at Atlanta dragway in Commerce GA. I'd love to see a 10 sec. STI try to make the field.

Man would I love to have the money for it man. I live in Birmingham. That's crazy to imagine buying that for only 6 grand more than I paid for my sti.

ok guys, i have wrestled with selling my car, I'm officially committed to finding her a new home. I am not in a hurry, not going to giver her away, but it's time for me to move on. I have a new chapter in life....6 month old little girl that needs her daddy alive, haha!

seriously, this car is THE car to buy if you are serious about power and racing.
