IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2004 Trader Rating: (3) | ![]() OK folks, the day has come to put a price on my 04 STi. I realize this is going to come as a shock to many people, but I’m always open to new projects. I am the original owner of this car, bought it brand new in Feb of 04. She has been garage kept, never been in any sort of wreck. This car has never been my daily driver, has always been a garage monster. I have invested close to 100k in this car, 25k+ in the last 12 months. On to the good stuff!!! The car has a total of 30, 700 miles, although the entire drivetrain has less than 2,300 miles. I truly believe this car represents the best of what the Subaru performance industry has to offer…. The Hydra was recently sent to HydraUSA for every possible upgrade available TopSpeed Dyno/Road/Track tuned Doug has spent countless hours tuning my car, on the dyno, driving on the open road, and at the dragstrip. Here’s the bottom line….This car is insane!!! It’s an absolute beast, not for the faint of heart. I recently piloted this car to a 10.87 at 127mph on only 24psi!!! 24psi is about 500whp, the dogbox drastically changes the et’s. I absolutely can’t imagine what she will do on 30psi+. This STi has low 10sec potential, all day long. She is a 10 sec ride, ready for a new owner. ![]() YouTube - 10.87 at 127 I am motivated to find the right owner. My price is $29,500. Please pm or call with any questions. The car is located in south Alabama, Thanks! Austin Fisher 251-533-3586 This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2004 Trader Rating: (3) | ^it's not a "good bye". I am basically putting a price tag on her....I mean, everything is always for sale, haha! I love the car, could easily keep her for several more years. I figured I'd put a reasonable price on it, and if someone steps up...I'll be on my way to my next undecided project. Life is too short to love one car. |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2005 Trader Rating: (5) | Don't sell it man. Just delete the thread. I can tell by your mod list and your journal how much time, effort, and cash are attached to your car - and you're selling it for a measly $29.5k. It makes me sad that some donkey will buy your car with tens of thousands of dollars in upgrades, and have no idea what they're getting. |

IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2004 Trader Rating: (3) | ^that makes me feel better. ok, if there are more members that feel the same way, now is the time to let me know. I'll take her off the market. ^ i enjoy being part of the community. I dont mind keeping my car if i serve as some sort of inspiration/amusement for other members, haha! |

| Platinum Member | Austin, you are an inspiration to the community, without question. Your experiences and vast knowledge have guided many of us through our years here on IWSTI. With all the fuzzy bunny stuff said, you should do whatever you feel is right for you. Money doesn't grow on trees and neither do 10 sec STis. Sell her if you want to, or keep her if your heart is still in it, you'll have my support either way. Best of luck in whatever you decide. Edit: If I had the money, I would buy it... how perfect would that be - 05 STi as a DD and a 10 sec STi as a weekend warrior. |

| STI Driver | I vote on keeping it for sure. I remember when I sold my last mustang that had an endless amount of time and money into it. Waited to sell it to what I though was a "responsible" buyer only to have him total the car a few weeks later. If I was smart I would have keep it since I just ended up buyinh another mustang again and starting all over when I already had a near perfect car. Think it over and maybe you will change your mind but none the less such a sweet car! |

IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2004 Trader Rating: (3) | thanks for the supporting comments! I'm not on a mission to sell my sti, if someone wants to pay $29,500 than I'll let her go. anything less is motivation to keep her. My plans with this car will not stop or slow down, so dont be surprised if this thread slowly disapears because you wont find me bumping it everyday. shawn05sti....dude, me too!!!!!! haha! I had a 1988 mustang gt vert, loved that car and poured thousands of dollars into it. I always regreted selling it, which I know i will regret selling my sti. however, whatever replaces it would be my next best car, haha! |

| Lurker | I had to join this website just to post a reply to this thread if nothing else. This car is one bad machine. I've been through my share of high performance cars, but these STI's keep gaining my attention. If I hadn't picked up an '07 Volvo S60R earlier this year, I'd be all over this. Makes me want to trade ya! ![]() I too had a well built mustang and sold it only to buy another one 6 months later after convincing my wife! I've had two mustangs since and decided to "settle" down with the S60R, but it's a very tame car compared to what I'm used to. I love the raw feel of the STI's and mustangs. I almost bought a mustang from a guy in Rhode Island once. Given that it wasn't the smartest thing to add to my collection at the time, I decided against it. In fact, I helped convince the owner that he had too much into it and should hold on to it. He kept it and put a few grand into it over the course of a few months... only to sell it in the end. Just be sure you do what you want to do in the end. ![]() If you don't mind, what are you itching to do next? Andy |
