He said that the car was detuned today for the small track and it was putting down 425ish to the wheels but was capable of around 600. Full boost was around 21psi at 4000 on pump gas. The most amazing thing was that he spins the motor up to 9500rpm. Awesome engine, I hope cobbs blocks are capable of the same.
Dont believe everything you hear, there's NO WAY IN HELL a SR56 is making even 500whp, the most i've ever personally seen one make is in the 460whp range and that was pushing it.. Hell, alot of 35R's dont hit 600whp and that's a way bigger turbo, and it's rotated..

I don't think cosworth offers anything that will make increasing amounts of power all the way up to 9500rpms that still idle at a respectable idle speed...

They help, no doubt, but they would need to be some rather lumpy cams to make power at 9500rpms... No doubt however that the engine itself can spin that fast though.

I beleive he was referring to the DR65 rotated mount turbo which is more than capable of hitting 500WHP.

Well if he was talking about that turbo then yeah, he should be able to make 500whp.. But it looked like he ment the SR56 and just reversed the 56, but yeah, with the DR65 500whp is doable.. No way in hell with the SR56 though, unless your on the highest reading dyno in the country but otherwise no..

Why on earth are you getting a Borla exhaust with the Cosworth motor? No offense to you, but its like putting a diamond on strip of aluminum foil and calling it a wedding ring.

I had a Borla Hush on my Legacy and it was crap. The joints all leaked and it had lots of taper in the piping.

Good luck otherwise.

Actually I had the Borla catback first (the only thing available in Mexico), and the Cobb downpipe. Everything else came afterward. This is their new racing series and it seems to work quite well. If need be, I'll change it afterwards. I also bought Cobb's AP (version 1 AND version 2) and at the end I will use Ecutek, so I will sell these unused. The build up just grew and started to acquire a life of its own. It is like a new house, you run over budget even before you start.
