im just going by what i have read and heard from people. im not even putting my own experiences in it.

Edit- The only other thing that i can say that i have recommended that i did not have experience with is the ohlin coilovers

No problem at all man. Im just sayn that this sight rocks cause you have such a good chance of finding someome else out there that has experience with a product you're interested in. The less people we have here (not saying you one of them) that regurgitate all the stuff they read the better imo.

I agree and see what you are saying. No hard feelings.

oh and for what its worth, i have had dealings with Crawford, but im not getting into that now. I dont care about the product, but the customer service i dealt with was horrible.

Damn, all i keep reading/hearing about is one blown crawford block after another. I never see threads of blown cosworth/cobb/axis motors, or i'm not going to say never, but VERY few, with crawford though it seems like there is one blown block for every month. I'm starting to see a pattern here, and i don't think it's the tuning that is ruining these blocks. If it was tuning, you would hear/see about it here and there, not all the time, with crawford it is literally every month!

IMO there is too much risk in going with a crawford block, maybe quirty will realize that being cheap about things and making the most money possible isn't always the best idea. He's so hard-headed though he probably won't realize this until it's too late, and i think it's starting to get to that point.

If you had a rod break in one of our S3L motors, please send it back for a free replacement.

I don't know how much good sending a rod back will do. Did you let that guy Quirt back on the computer? Bad move.

Yeah, a rod won't help much if the pistons were shrunk down too.

This is the second Crawford motor that I have read about blowing in the last couple of days. The one in the Automaster shop car supposedly blew as well.
