Wow. I've been away from these boards for some time now and I just spotted this thread. I've read 80% of it, starting from the 1st post.

A while ago, I was thinking about buying a built block (by Crawford, probably) instead of DIY just to save me the hassle. After reading this, REGARDLESS of who's at fault, I think I am just going to do it myself. Obviously, there is too much ask risk, IMO, to go with Crawford. I'd rather not have to worry about it at all even if he is telling the truth. It definitely seems like he has poor customer service skills and that would make me wonder if his engineering skills are similar. If you're going to be the "voice" of the business (and post on these message boards), then learn how to handle customers.

I feel pretty confident that I can build a Subie block. It's the same with any motor; check and double check everything. Well, that's how I've done any sort of build. If I don't do it though, then I'm leaning towards Cobb.

Anyways, Bruce, I wish you the best of luck.

Bruce,

I finally took time to read the whole story. I knew it was the big news for a while, but I just took it as, "Well, at least I know I don't want a motor from them." And left it at that.

Then my local vendor told me about how Quirt blamed the whole thing on Element and Phil's tuning, and how it costed Phil some business. I've personally had extremely, extremly good experiences from Phil at Element, and that was enough to let me read your whole story.

All I have to say is he's a total piece of work. I can't believe he's even allowed to stay a vendor on NASIOC.

i've promised i'm going to have nothing more to say about crawford. everything to say has already been said, but i can't not say something here.

the only reason that motor didn't grenade is phil grabow and hydra. anyone wtih a brain cell knows better than to blame phil and some people aren't very smart. i haven't asked him specifically about it but i believe in the end phil will gain much more business than he lost.

I hope so. I know you won't say anything more about Crawford, but I can

I heard from a friend of Phil's (as Phil is too modest to say so himself) that Quirt was calling fellow clients of Crawford and Element to tell them Phil is tuning cars badly.

Phil use to fly to Peurto Rico to tune all those high-end cars down there until Quirt made those calls. That's when everyone down there starting using Gladiel as their tuner. Phil doesn't go down there anymore because of Quirt's calls.

That really chaps my hide. What a piece of **** you would have to be to not only never take any blame, but relentlessly point fingers in another direction.

Sorry, I hate to rant and flame people, but that is frickin ridiculous.

Is Quirk even a human?
His actions being a business owner scares the crap out of me..
I wish there was a way to let the world know what kind of person he is.
But let's not worry guys.. Karma will get him for sure.
Quirk, I see many bad things coming for ya in the end
don't be too suprised and blame someone else when the bad comes to you
And best wishes to Phil, he seems like a good guy.

Anyone think of Better Business Bureau? Seriously....it really pisses me off how others get hurt from some punk who won't own up to their own faults.
