the next move:

crawford is sending the parts to my motor back at my expense. i will salvage the crank and pauter rods, replace the rod bearings, crank bearings, pistons and rings. we'll reassemble the motor ourselves and rebuild the heads with the new dpr stg3 cams and we'll be back in business.

damn,makes my want list that much shorter. i've been skeptical off their blocks for awhile, now we got some pretty reliable proof. hope it works out in the end for you bruce. guess quirt should stick to sandrails....look who just left....

Damn Bruce. Sorry to hear this bro! I know you put a LOT of money, effort and sweat into this project. It is very sad to see Crawford not supporting you with your project. Really disappointing... This will be a BIG hit for Crawford in the Suby community.

Sorry for the bad luck Bruce. I think that shows EXTREMELY bad character on their part to blame you and Phil as well as not help you out in any way for your loss of time and money. Definetly would not recommended them (not that anyone would ask me anything regarding sti's since i'm a noob

What can Crawford really do now? I bet soon enough we'll see I-Speed in here giving a speech about the risks associated with modding and taking personal responsibility in a non-aggressive fashion...followed by a short statement from Crawford about how he does not discuss customer disputes in the public arena and maybe a few words citing damage to the pistons caused from "abuse".

There's no way Crawford is going to sort this problem out now--they HAVE to stand their ground. Otherwise they'll look shady. This is one of those hits to a business where the business has to sit back and let their rep carry them a bit because damage control would exacerbate exposure.

it's ashame it had to come to this bruce. i must say, bruce gave everything he had to try to work this out with crawford before, but like bruce mentioned their "great character" failed to show up. i hope this thing ends as well as it can bruce.
