pitcherman, you mean 1000cc injectors will negatively impact fuel economy?
So all else being equal, did the 1000CC injectors negatively affect fuel economy?

What about it doesn't he like? I can't decide whether I should go with PE850, Nismo 740, that "Deutch 750" brand , or the Perrin Modifieds (I'm not too thrilled with some of Perrin's products, so I'm a little scared with going that route like you did previously).

he doesn't like tuning them. the best thing is to discuss your upgrade plan with your tuner before ordering injectors. if you have confidence in your tuner, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.

btw, the dpr cams were returned after 3 efforts by dpr to get them right. if you are familiar with my current situation, you know that one of my kelford avcs exhaust cams was incorrectly ground and has to be replaced. this past entire years racing effort has been a waste of time. when it comes to aftermarket cams, trust no one .

We run and have many customers running 1000cc low imp injectors with the Hydra and they will happily run at 14.7 during cruise (if the car will). You will not use any more fuel with the 1000cc injectors as the Hydra has the pulse width resolution to tune them correctly. Go for it!

Thanks,
Phil

I just read the above after going through countless threads on the topic... based on that, it looks like RC1000 cc are the way to go... even with my minimal mods... so I'll be ready for the GT65 in the fall or late summer...

I am my own tuner so it makes things both more challenging but also more rewarding in the end... I have to research and learn everything myself... which is a lot on an STI if you want to do it right.
