Default What can $20,000 do for a 2011 sti with shot engine?

Hey there. I just recently had the motor in my 2011 sti seize up on me. Instead of fixing it ive decided to just stack my money and build it. Ive wanted a beast sti since they were smashing the streets in colorado back in 04. Im expecting to drop about 20,000 into it by the end of the year. I have no plan no main goals. I just want a fast, fun, reliable STI. If there is any info as to what id be capable of with 20,000 please let me know so i can start researching. Any and all advice would be great as well. It will not be an everyday driver. Some weekends. And maybe a roadtrip back to colorado or two. I also have the invidia n1 exhaust, aem cold air intake(also a cobb intake as well), and the accessport. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Thanks in advance for all advice.

Browse the build section. That will give you some idea. Wish I had that type of disposable income. Good luck!

Definitely appreciate the offer ///v3dude but a friend of mine is going to help me build it. Its just neither of us carry much knowledge in the sti category. He's more muscle cars and specializes in the cts V's. So im trying to figure out options and preventive mesures. I want something, not only fast, but reliable as well. Thank you again. And its not really disposable income lol. Im working my butt off to have this money saved back.

Are you doing the labor or paying someone to do it?

Buy a fully assembled closed deck long block and use the rest for big turbo + supporting mods.

Lol. I was going to put the money down on a house (would be the smarter choice) but as much as i travel for work i just decided to go with the car build instead.
