I'm going with revworks stage 2 short block. I believe they do great work from all ive seen. I need info though. I'm currently on amr performance stage 2 tune. I have 2011 sti invidia q300 from downpipe on back, amr race headers , up pipe, cold air intake (not inlet) grim speed boost solenoid. All els stock. Getting the revworks stage 2 along with gates racing belt kit killer be pick up and ramp ,sti oil pump , arp head studs and subaru casgets. Was going to get a protune from amr after install. My problem is my heads sould i do anything? Was going to stick with all else stock for now. any info will be great

Stock for the time being. But going to go for something that can go 400whp to 550 easily so not to run the turbo too much. Looking for top moun intercooler rather then fmic for less lag. Fp and injecters down the line aswell. My issue is that was told today about cleaning and servicing my heads. The price about 3500$. Was looking to get the block with other things i got install for that then of cause the tune. So im stuck with what should i do and or where to go to get the job done at lower price for the install if i dont need to do anything to the heads. My sti runs great just want to proteck the sb

Just wanted to add to this thread. I chose Rev Works to assemble my long block. I could not be happier with the service and quality of the build thus far.

I chose their RW750 block with closed deck option with stage 2 heads and ETS rotated kit with a gtx3076r.

Motor is assembled and goes in Monday.

If you haven't checked into Rev Works Inc you are missing out.
