I want a wider power band. I'll be getting AVO's gt3076r jdm twinscroll turbo. I've read it's the nature of twinscroll turbos can pruduce a wide powerband. To further help this I'm debating on doing cams, springs and retainers. Would 272 cams pass smog?

Talked to bc tech support, he said he knew of one passed smog on 272's.

if looking for a broader power band, skip the cams....

They simply move the power to the right, and further away from the left, which is opposite to what you appear to be trying to achieve...

Give bc a call and ask them to see if they say that again.

Ask someone around in ny if they will just do the obd2 test. They really don't do smog in ny i thinks its only in cali,
