Default Taking the plunge (building the block)

ok, so i'm looking at building my motor over the summer or fall. i have researched a good deal on what parts i would like to utilize to build my block and right now i'm thinking some CP pistons w/ manley or some other forged rods, cryo-treated and coated, and some ARP head studs. basically an AXIS stage 2 block from what i have read. but after reading up on some reviews of stroker motors, i'm kind of enticed to go that route. i was thinking of the BC 2.7 kit w/ some tough ductile sleeves and then maybe doing the heads over (BC valves, retainers, valve springs) and some tomei or BC cams. i'm looking to run either a SZ55 or a blouch DOM 2. nothing crazy, but i want 450+awhp to be attainable on 100 octane + if need be. ideally, i would love 400-420awhp(dynojet readings BTW) and just as much if not more awtrq on pump. would you guys advise meth as well? not a big fan, just because of the problems that could arise with the fuel system, not so much as the meth failsafes. let me know what you guys think, im open to all opinions as i've just started to ponder this mild build. thanks

Biuld stage 1 short block (forge pistons only) and it would be just fine for 450-500 WHP.

^ Where are you located in VA? I'm about to order my full motor from Ron next week. My motor (and assume turbo) took a dump all at once.
